A rugged, fanless platform consuming only 30 watt while offering equivalent GPU performance to a mainstream 120 watt GPU

TAIPEI, Taiwan — August 28, 2020 — Neousys Technology, an industry-leading provider of rugged embedded systems, launched an extreme power-efficient fanless Edge AI inference platform, the NRU-120S, which features NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Xavier with compact dimensions, four screw-lockable PoE+ ports and two 2.5" HDD trays.

Neousys NRU-120S offers a unique solution for emerging edge AI applications by providing a rugged, fanless platform consuming only 30 watts while offering equivalent GPU performances to a mainstream 120W watt GPU.

Neousys NRU-120S offers plenty of I/O connections. It has four Gigabit 802.3at PoE+ ports that can supply 25.5 watt power to PD devices. For data storage, in addition to 32GB eMMC on the Xavier module, NRU-120S is equipped with an M.2 2280 NVMe socket for fast SSD read/write and two hot-swappable 2.5" HDD trays for easy replacement and data access. There is also one mini-PCIe socket for WiFi or 4G module, as well as a GPS PPS input for cross-platform synchronization, 3-CH isolated DI, and 4-CH isolated DO for communication with external devices.
