Cool Technologies Mobile Generation (MG) systems to integrate Panasonic Toughpad rugged tablets
TAMPA, FL, USA — January 23, 2018 — Cool Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB:WARM), an innovator in efficient mobile power generation and thermal dispersion technologies, announced today that the company's Mobile Generation systems will incorporate Panasonic Toughpad rugged tablets to run Cool Tech's patented (HAST E899WO) MG software system. This application is the first example of Cool Technologies using Panasonic devices.
The Panasonic Toughpad tablet, equipped with the CoolTech software will provide a rugged, high performance touchscreen interface for field technicians to control and calibrate the Mobile Generation systems. The Toughpad will be deployed in both the trucks' cabs and in the control panel box on the side of the vehicles.
"Our customers rely on mobile technology to make their jobs easier and more efficient," said Brian Rowley, Vice President of Marketing and Product Management, Panasonic System Communications Company of North America. "We are continually innovating and working with companies like Cool Technologies to develop solutions where our rugged laptops and tablets are changing the way people do business."
"In light of our recent sales of 259 MG systems to the Mexican famers' unions of Jatropha and Veracruz, it was particularly important for us that the Toughpad meets stringent military standards before our engineers at Czero integrated it into our system," said Tim Hassett, CEO of Cool Technologies. "That's a critical consideration, not only for the military, but for all the others from the utility, forestry, mining and construction industries that are planning to order our MG30 to 125 systems."
